Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..

A really cool and very RARE 1972 Harmony H1720 Solid State Guitar Amp. These cool amps were only made in 1972 and 1973. Nothing indicates which year its from. Cool Blue Tuck and Roll that’s all there including the cool Speaker Cloth that’s in great shape.

These amps were only made for two years and I don’t think they made very many. I don’t ever remember seeing even one. I found this one here in Iowa and was surprised to see the Harmony name plate. Clearly made in Japan as Harmony was shutting down the Chicago plants. Original Speakers that still work. See pics..

The Stencilling of the logo plate is still very clear on both the speaker cab and amp head. No tears on the Blue Tuck and roll…really incredible how clean this amp is for being 45 years old.

Its great that that it looks good but I’m happy to report not only does it look good, everything works. I couldn’t believe it. 35 watts as rated in my 1972 Harmony Catalog and I believe it. Very loud for its size. The twin 10 inch speakers bark right at you. Reverb works as does the Tremelo. It has the original two prong cord which should be replace if you are going to use this a lot. It even has the original speaker cord to hook the head to the cab. WOW!! What a cool Amp outfit.

The amp is not really that big. Its 30 inches tall by 15 ½ inches wide and 8 inches deep with the head on top of the cabinet. The Cab weighs 18 lbs and the head only 5 lbs for a combined weight of only 23 lbs. Very light for the 1970’s. Ever pick up a Fender Twin? LOL!

This cool combo works just fine now. I will guarantee it to arrive working. It is Solid State however. No telling how long the transistors will last. Its been 45 years now. You can’t just replace tubes on these. I don’t think you will use this amp for gigging, its probably going to complete some Harmony collectors finds. But I could be wrong…its really cool and unique.

I will ship it in two boxes. I don’t want any damage. It will ship in the lower 48 States for $75.00. Sorry, no overseas for this one.

Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used..However, I have been hand picking my customers guitars and amps for over 17 years now and they all love the gear I find. This cool amp will not be an exception…

Thanks for checking out our cool instruments.
