Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...

This is not the same Silvertone 1488 I sold last month. Yes, I found another for my customers. Grab this one..it is awesome!!

A really rare guitar. I have sold dozens of the two pickup models but have only had 4 of the Red 3 DeArmond Pickup Silvertones. This one is awesome. It has the original Red finish that has some nicks and scrapes but still has its original luster. All Original including the Silvertone Red Plush Case...check those pics!

Check out the demo I did for another one of these cool guitars. Not this guitar but sounds just like it..Enjoy...

The DeArmond Silverfoil Pickups are fat and full of tone. It is set up Professionally with easy playing low action. No sore fingers with this one. The Pickguard is in great shape and all electronics function as they should. Check out the large rectangular Fret markers. This Model H1488 Guitar, was Silvertones finest Solidbody Model. We had to reroute the pickguard in the upper bass bout..It had cracked at the screw hole..see pic 4... It plays, looks and sound amazing.

Heres what Silvertone World had to say about these cool guitars..

The Harmony-built

'Silhouette'-based

1488 is a rarity on today's collectors market. The triple-pickup'd axe sported a high price, cherry-red good looks, and a wide sonic palette afforded by the three rocker switch selectors and custom V/T network. Even more rare are the 1488s towards the end of the model run, with red pickup inserts, beefier knobs, a string mute, and a 'batwing' pickguard embellishment (and some without).

Introduced:
Fall/Winter 1965 at $119.95

Retired: Spring/Summer 1968 at $119.95. It's rumored there was a blue-finished / modified pickguard version of the 1488 at the end of the run. Got one? Seen one?

This axe is a standout for a few reasons - triple DeArmond pickups; unseen on any other Harmony-built solidbody Silvertone, rocker selector switches; another exclusive feature, and the highest price of any of the 14XX series.

I also am including the original Silvertone Gray and White with Red Plush interior Softshell Case. It even has the body restraint straps still in-tact. The case is in very good shape but some breaks in the top edge as you can see. What a Great combo of guitar with original Case. If you have been looking for one of these, grab it quick. They hardly ever come up any more. I am happy to get this one back in playing shape for some lucky purchaser.

Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used but will please the lucky buyer. I have been hand picking vintage guitars for my customers for over 18 years now and they all loved the guitars I found them. This cool Silvertone will certainly not be an exception...

Thanks for checking out our cool guitars..
